Department of History, Anthropology, Africana Studies, and Social Studies Statement of Policy
A course with a grade lower than a C will not be allowed to fulfill a major or minor requirement in any program offered by the Department of History, Anthropology, Africana Studies, and Social Studies.
To be recommended for student teaching by the Department of History, Anthropology, Africana Studies, and Social Studies, a student with a major or minor in social studies must achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher, content GPA of 3.00 or higher, Professional Education GPA of 3.00 or higher with no grade lower than a C.
