TMD 8590 - Internship (3)Practicum designed to provide direct, supervised experiences for doctoral students, usually in the areas of the technical specialization. The experiences are tailored to provide an opportunity to test and experiment with regard to industry, research organizations, government agencies, and other appropriate experiential ventures associated with technology utilization, transfer, and innovation. The area in which the internship is taken will be designated on the student’s transcript, i.e., Internship: Quality Systems. May be repeated for up to 6 hours. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Program Coordinator.
