ACCT 5105 - Accounting for Managers (2-3) This course applies financial and managerial accounting concepts as quantitative decision-making tools for managers. Students learn to analyze cost behavior, evaluate performance, interpret financial information, and apply accounting data to strategic and operational decisions. Emphasis is placed on forecasting, scenario modeling, cost optimization, and data-driven evaluation of alternatives. Students use spreadsheet modeling and analytical frameworks to support planning, control, and strategic analysis in modern business environments. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MBA program.
