FIN 5800 - Managerial Finance (3) This course applies financial theory and quantitative analytical methods to managerial decision-making. Students evaluate capital budgeting decisions, capital structure, risk and return, dividend policies, mergers, and working capital management using forecasting, optimization, and simulation techniques. Emphasis is placed on applying financial models to evaluate alternatives, assess uncertainty, and support strategic decisions. Students use spreadsheet-based modeling, sensitivity analysis, and data-driven evaluation frameworks to analyze financial performance in dynamic business environments. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MBA program.
