CS 4930 - Software Testing and Quality Assurance (3)

Concepts and techniques for testing software and assuring its quality. Students learn the testing fundamentals, the theory behind criteria-based test designs and to apply that theory in practice. Topics cover software testing at the unit, module, subsystems, and system levels, automatic and manual techniques for generating and validating test data, testing process, static vs. dynamic analysis, functional testing, inspections, and reliability assessment. Prerequisite(s): CS 2300 or instructor consent.
