Transfer Guide JCCC AA to UCM BSBA Finance

The below courses are required for BSBA Finance majors and can be fulfilled at JCCC as part of the AA degree requirements. If these courses are not taken at JCCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of JCCC AA degree requirements can be found in the JCCC catalog.

Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree will be considered to have met all general education requirements, except those specifically required by the major (if applicable).

AA General Education Requirements: 30 Semester Hours

The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at JCCC must be completed as part of BSBA requirements.

Free Choice Electives: 3 Semester Hours


Free choice electives may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM. 

Students must take at least 30 upper-level (3000/4000) hours to graduate. Courses taken at JCCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSBA: 120 Semester Hours


*Students expecting to receive the B.S.B.A. degree must meet all preadmission requirements to be admitted to this program. See the Statement of Policy on Admission to a B.S.B.A. degree program. Pre-admission courses include: ACCT 1101, ACCT 2102BLAW 2720CIS 1600, ECON 1010ECON 1011FIN 2801, and MATH 1111.
