Transfer Guide LCC AS Criminal Justice to UCM BS Criminal Justice and Criminology

AS General Education Requirements: 33 Semester Hours

Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate in Science degree will need to complete the general education program at UCM. Minimum Total Hours Required for LCC AS: 60 Semester Hours

Major Requirements: 15 Semester Hours

Courses must be completed with a C or higher.

General Education Requirements: 12 Semester Hours

The following General Education  coursework will need to be completed at UCM.

• Knowledge Area I (6 hours)
• Knowledge Area II (3 hours)
• Knowledge Area III (3 hours)

Free Choice Electives: 32 Semester Hours

Free choice elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.

Students must complete a minimum of 30 upper-level hours (3000/4000). Courses taken at LCC that transfer to UCM as upper-level courses do not count towards upper-level hours.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
