Transfer Guide OTC AAT to UCM BSE Elementary Education: Early Childhood, Birth-Grade 3

The below courses are required for Elementary Education majors and can be fulfilled at OTC as part of the AAT degree requirements. Any courses listed below not completed at OTC must be completed at UCM. The full list of OTC AA degree requirements can be found in the OTC catalog.

Students who transfer to UCM with an AAT degree are considered to have met all general education requirements, except those required by the major (if applicable).

AAT General Education Requirements: 38 Semester Hours


AAT Program Specific Courses: 13 Semester Hours


AAT Additional Electives: 14 Semester Hours


Minimum Total Hours Required for OTC AAT: 65 Semester Hours


*Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.

UCM BSE Elementary Education: Early Childhood, Birth-Grade 3


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an AAT degree. Any courses listed above not taken at OTC must be completed as part of BSE requirements.

Major Requirements Clinical Pathway: 55 Semester Hours


Professional Education Requirements: 17 Semester Hours


Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.

General Education Requirements: 6 Semester Hours


The following general education courses should be taken at UCM.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSE: 120 Semester Hours
