Transfer Guide Crowder AS Nursing (Registered) to UCM BS Health Studies


Crowder College


The below courses are required for Health Studies majors and can be fulfilled at Crowder as part of the AS Nursing (Registered) requirements. If any of the below courses are not taken at Crowder, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of AS requirements can be found in the Crowder College catalog.​

Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate of Science degree will need to complete the general education requirements at UCM. See the UCM General Education Requirements listed at the bottom of this guide.

AS General Education Requirements: 31 Semester Hours


The below courses required by the AS Nursing (Registered) degree at Crowder fulfill general education/major requirements at UCM.

AS Program Requirements: 36 Semester Hours

Minimum Total Hours Required for Crowder AS: 67 Semester Hours


*A grade of “C” or better is required for Major courses.

UCM BS Health Studies


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Science degree. Any courses listed above not taken at Crowder College must be completed at UCM.

Approved Electives: 9 Semester Hours


Approved electives require approval from the Health Studies program which result in a minor, certificate or prepare students for a certification or graduate school program.

A grade of “C” or better is required for Approved Electives.

General Education Requirements: 27-29 Semester Hours


The following General Education  requirements will need to be completed at UCM. 

Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
