Major, Bachelor of Science in Education Degree

The graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in English will use the knowledge and skills obtained in the program to:

  • Foster inclusive learning environments by applying knowledge of adolescents and learning        
  • Demonstrate secondary ELA content knowledge     
  • Plan appropriate instruction for secondary ELA
  • Implement appropriate instruction for secondary ELA
  • Reflect on teaching practices

General Education Requirements: 33 Semester Hours
