CYBR 4920 - Software Security (3)

Introduction to software security. Topics include Set-UID programs, environment variables, Shellshock attack, buffer overflow attack, SEH overwrite exploits, return-to-libc attack, return oriented programming, format string vulnerability, race condition vulnerability, Dirty COW, reverse shell, Heartbleed attack, fuzzing, and basic exploit development. This course is co-listed with CYBR 5920. Prerequisite(s): CS 3500  or CYBR 3130 . An additional fee is associated with this course.
