CJ 4190 - Interpersonal Communication Skills for Criminal Justice (3)This course is designed as a comprehensive overview of the various communication methods utilized within the criminal justice field, including oral, non-verbal, and written skills. Students will be introduced to various techniques, theories, and issues in order to increase their competency as effective tactical communicators. These techniques include Verbal Judo and the Reid Interviewing and Interrogation Process. The communication skills will be enhanced by the completion of practical exercises designed to improve their overall usage of the various communication modes.
