This course will also include an overview of the theories of juvenile delinquency, deviant behavior, and youth culture. Beyond a theoretical background, this course will also examine the role that external influences (such as school, family, media, etc.) play in juvenile delinquency and discussion of special populations within juvenile offenders and victims.
