CS 3420  -  Linear Algebra for Scientists and Engineers (3)

Basic topics and tools of linear algebra are discussed. Covers matrices and determinants with operations, solving systems of linear equations in several ways, properties of Rn, linear combinations, inner product, eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Prerequisite(s): CS 1110  or CS 2030  with a grade of C or better; and  ACST 1300  or ACST 1300R   or MATH 1111  or MATH 1111R   or MATH 1131  or MATH 1150  or MATH 1151  with a grade of C or better.
