ATM 3134 - Advanced Powerplant Systems (3: 2 lecture, 1 lab)Designed to familiarize students with current and near-future automotive propulsion system technologies. It includes the study of advanced engine performance and diagnostic equipment with particular emphasis given to alternate fuel power-plant systems, electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cells and other relevant topics pertaining to the advanced vehicle propulsion systems. Prerequisite(s): ATM 2132 . An additional fee is associated with this course. Fall.
