Transfer Guide MCC AA to UCM BSE Art

The below courses are required for BSE Art majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AA requirements. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of MCC AA requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree are considered to have met all general education requirements at UCM, except for those specifically required by the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below, if applicable).
AA General Education Requirements - 42 Semester Hours
AA Elective Options: 14 Semester Hours
General Degree Requirements: 4 Semester Hours

Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AA: 60 Hours
UCM BSE Art
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BSE requirements.
Major Requirements: 28 Semester Hours
Professional Education Requirements: 8 Semester Hours
Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
Student Teaching Semester
General Education Requirements: 3 Semester Hours
The following general education courses must be taken at UCM.
Free Choice Electives: 0-15 Semester Hours
Free choice elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BSE: 127 Semester Hours
*Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
