Transfer Guide MACC AAS to UCM BSE Secondary Education: Agriculture Teacher Education

The below courses are required for Secondary Education: Agriculture Teacher Education majors and can be fulfilled at MACC as part of the AAS Agriculture Technology requirements. Any courses listed below not taken at MACC must be completed at UCM. The full list of MACC AAS requirements can be found in the MACC catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with a completed AAS degree will need to complete the general education program at UCM. See The General Education Program Requirements for full list of requirements.
AAS General Education Requirements: 16 Semester Hours
AAS Agriculture Technology Program Requirements: 45 Semester Hours

Minimum Total Hours Required for MACC AAS: 61 Hours
UCM BSE Secondary Education: Agriculture Teacher Education
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an AAS Agriculture Technology degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MACC must be completed as part of the BSE requirements.
Major Requirements: 49 Semester Hours
Select two of the following five courses: 6 Semester Hours
Professional Education: 50 Semester Hours
Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
Junior Block: 4 Semester Hours
Senior Block: 6 Semester Hours
Student Teaching Semester: 12 Semester Hours
General Education Requirements: 26 Semester Hours
