Transfer Guide State Tech AAS Drafting & Design Engineering Tech to UCM BS Engineering Technology: Management Option

The below courses are required for Engineering Technology: Management Option majors and can be fulfilled at State Tech as part of the AAS requirements. If these courses are not completed at State Tech, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of State Tech AAS requirements can be found in the State Tech catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with an AAS degree will need to complete the general education requirements at UCM. See the UCM General Education Requirements section below.
AAS General Education Requirements: 19 Semester Hours
The below courses will be taken as part of the AAS and fulfill UCM general education requirements (listed in parentheses).
AAS Core Curriculum: 33-42 Semester Hours

AAS Program Requirements: 16 Semester Hours
AAS Graduation Requirements: 1 Semester Hour

Minimum Total Hours Required for State Tech AAS: 69-78 Semester Hours
UCM BS Engineering Technology: Management Option
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an AAS degree in Drafting and Design Engineering Technology. Any courses listed above not taken at State Tech must be completed as part of BS requirements.
Major Requirements: 60-61 Semester Hours
Core Required Hours: 27-28 Semester Hours
Option 5 - Management: 33 Semester Hours
20 required departmentally approved electives will be fulfilled through State Tech coursework. The following remaining courses are required at UCM.
General Education Requirements: 21 Semester Hours
The following General Education requirements will need to be completed after transferring 22 hours from State Tech:
