  • * Students must choose 18 hours of ART major electives.
  • ** Students must choose 6 hours of Art History from the following courses: ART 1835 Global Arts & culture GE, ART 3680 History of Graphic Design, ART 3800 History of Furniture and Interiors I, ART 4850 Twentieth Century Art and Architecture, and ART 4860 Contemporary Art and Design. 
  • 10 This course fulfills Competency 10 - Integration in the General Education program. The hours count in the major, not in general education.
  • To satisfy the General Education Assessment (GEA) Policy, students must take the GEA after they earn 60 credit hours but before earning 75 credit hours. Transfer students who have more than 60 hours earned should take the exam during their second semester at UCM. Students must achieve a passing score of 425 to meet graduation requirements.
