Transfer Guide ECC AAT to UCM BME Music Education: Vocal Option

The below courses are required for BME Music Education majors and can be fulfilled at ECC as part of the AAT Education-Teaching requirements. If any of the below courses are not taken at ECC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of ECC AAT requirements can be found in the ECC Catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate of Arts in Teaching degree are considered to have met all general education requirements at UCM, except for those specifically required by the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below for these courses, if applicable).
AAT General Education Requirements: 43 Semester Hours
AAT Program Requirements: 13 Semester Hours
AAT Elective Options: 9 Semester Hours
Minimum Total Hours Required for ECC AAT: 65 Hours
*Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
UCM BME Music Education: Vocal Option
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree. Any courses listed above not taken at ECC must be completed as part of BME requirements.
Major Requirements: 45.5-49.5 Semester Hours
Professional Education Requirements: 25 Semester Hours
Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
Student Teaching Semester:
General Education Requirements: 6 Semester Hours
The following general education courses are required for this major and should be taken at UCM.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BME: 120 Semester Hours
