Transfer Guide MCC AAT to UCM BSE Secondary Education: Engineering and Technology Teacher Education

The below courses are required for BSE Secondary Education majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AAT requirements. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of MCC AAT requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree are considered to have met all general education requirements at UCM, except for those specifically required by the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below, if applicable).
AAT General Education Requirements: 40-47 Semester Hours
AAT Program Requirements: 12 Semester Hours
AAT Electives: 8 Semester Hours
Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AAT: 60-67 Hours
*Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
UCM BSE Secondary Education: Engineering and Technology Teacher Education
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BSE requirements.
Major Requirements: 28 Semester Hours
Professional Education Requirements: 33 Semester Hours
Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
Junior Block: 4 Semester Hours
Senior Block: 6 Semester Hours
Student Teaching Semester: 12 Semester Hours
General Education Requirements: 6 Semester Hours
The following general education courses are required for this major.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BSE: 120 Semester Hours
