Transfer Guide MACC AA Agriculture to UCM BS Agricultural Science

The below courses are required for Agricultural Science majors and can be fulfilled at MACC as part of the AA Agriculture requirements. Any courses listed below not taken at MACC must be completed at UCM. The full list of MACC AA requirements can be found in the MACC catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with a completed AA degree will be considered as having met the general education program at UCM, except for general education courses specifically required for the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below).

The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MACC must be completed as part of the BS requirements.
Core Major Requirements: 25-28 Semester Hours
Elect One of the 4 Areas: 18-27 Semester Hours
Area semester hours may vary depending on transfer coursework.
Area 1 - Agribusiness Management: 24 Semester Hours
Area 2 - Animal Science: 18 Semester Hours
Area 3 - Agronomy: 24 Semester Hours
Area 4 - Horticultural Science: 21 Semester Hours
General Education Requirements: 3 Semester Hours
