Transfer Guide SFCC AAS Computer and Network Admin to UCM BS Information Technology

The below courses are required for Information Technology majors and can be fulfilled at SFCC as part of the AAS Computer and Network Administration degree requirements. If these courses are not taken at SFCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of SFCC AAS degree requirements can be found in the SFCC Catalog. Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Applied Science degree will need to complete the general education program at UCM. See UCM General Education Requirements below. AAS General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours
The below courses will be taken as part of the AAS at SFCC and fulfill UCM general education requirements (listed in parentheses). AAS Program Requirements: 41 Semester Hours

Program Electives : 3 Semester Hours
Minimum Total Hours Required for SFCC AAS: 65 Semester Hours
UCM BS Information Technology
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Any courses listed above not taken at SFCC must be completed as part of the BS requirements. Major Requirements: 36-45 Semester Hours
Required Courses: 21 Semester Hours
Choose one of the following areas: 15-18 Semester Hours
Network and Systems Administration - 18 Semester Hours
Cloud and IT Infrastructure Management - 15 Semester Hours
Web and Mobile Applications Development - 18 Semester Hours
Program Electives: 0-6 Semester Hours
Elective hours can be fulfilled at SFCC depending on which area is chosen. Note: Courses cannot be used as both an area requirement and an elective. General Education Requirements: 28 Semester Hours
The following General Education requirements will need to be completed at UCM. Minimum Total Hours Required for BA: 120 Semester Hours
