Musical Theatre Major, BFA Degree - 120 hours
- * Select three hours from the following list: MUS 1055 - Collegiate Choir GE (1) , MUS 3070 - Women’s Choir GE (1) , MUS 3077 - Vocal Jazz Ensemble (1) , or MUS 4050 - University Concert Choir GE (1) . All three hours may be from the same course or a combination of different courses. If three hours of MUS 1055 , MUS 3070 , and/or MUS 4050 are chosen, these hours will also fulfill 3 hours of general education requirements. If this is opted, three additional hours of free choice electives will be needed to reach 120 hours.
- ** UNIV 1400 is a free choice elective and is highly recommended for academic success. If UNIV 1400 is chosen, 1 less hour of free choice electives will be needed.
- *** Select two different courses from the following list: DANC 1110 - Modern Dance I (2) , DANC 1120 - Ballet Dance I (2) , DANC 3110 - Modern Dance II (2) , and DANC 3120 - Ballet Dance II (2) .
- 10 This course fulfills Competency 10 - Integration in the General Education program. The hours count in the major, not in general education.
- To satisfy the General Education Assessment (GEA) Policy, students must take the GEA after they earn 60 credit hours but before earning 75 credit hours. Transfer students who have more than 60 hours earned should take the exam during their second semester at UCM. Students must achieve a passing score of 425 to meet graduation requirements.
