Transfer Guide MCC AA to UCM BSBA Events Marketing and Management

The below courses are required for BSBA Events Marketing and Management majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AA requirements. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.  The full list of MCC AA requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.​

Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree are considered to have met all general education requirements at UCM, except for those specifically required by the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below, if applicable).

AA General Education Requirements: 42 Semester Hours


AA Elective Options: 18 Semester Hours


Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AA: 60 Hours


UCM BSBA Events Marketing and Management


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BSBA requirements.

Free Choice Electives: 6 Semester Hours


Elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.

Students must take at least 30 upper-level (3000/4000)  hours to graduate. Courses taken at MCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSBA: 120 Hours


**Students expecting to receive the BSBA degree must meet all pre-admission requirements to be admitted to this program. See the Statement of Policy on Admission to a BSBA degree program. Pre-admission courses include: ACCT 1101, ACCT 2102, BLAW 2720, CIS 1600, ECON 1010, ECON 1011, FIN 2801, and MATH 1111.
