Transfer Guide MCC AA to UCM BS Child and Family Development

The below courses are required for BS Child and Family Development majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AA requirements. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of MCC AA requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with an AA degree will be considered to have met all general education requirements, except those specifically required by the major (see “General Education Requirements” section under UCM requirements below).
AA General Education Requirements: 42 Semester Hours
AA Elective Options: 18 Semester Hours
Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AA: 60 Semester Hours
UCM BS Child and Family Development
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BS requirements.

General Education Requirements: 3 Semester Hours
The following general education class is required for this major and should be taken at UCM:
