Transfer Guide Three Rivers AAS Paramedic to UCM BS Crisis and Disaster Management

The below courses are required for BS Crisis and Disaster Management majors and can be fulfilled at Three Rivers as part of the AAS Paramedic degree requirements. If any of the below courses are not taken at Three Rivers, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of AAS requirements can be found in the Three Rivers Catalog.​

Students who transfer to UCM with a completed AAS degree will need to complete the general education requirements at UCM. Some requirements are outlined below. See the UCM General Education Requirements section at the bottom of this guide.

AAS General Education Requirements: 16 Semester Hours


The below courses are recommended to be taken at Three Rivers as part of the AAS and fulfill UCM general education requirements (listed in parentheses).

AAS Paramedic Requirements: 47 Semester Hours

Minimum Total Hours Required for Three Rivers AAS: 63 Semester Hours


UCM BS Crisis and Disaster Management


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Any courses listed above not taken at Three Rivers must be completed as part of BS requirements.

General Education Requirements: 29-32 Semester Hours


The following General Education  requirements will need to be completed at UCM, including CHEM 1103 or 1104 (required for major).

Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
