Transfer Guide MCC AAS to UCM BS Environmental Safety & Risk Management

The below courses are required for ESRM majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AAS Construction Management requirements. If the below courses are not taken at MCC they must be completed at UCM. The full list of MCC AAS requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate in Applied Science degree will need to complete the General Education program at UCM (see UCM General Education Requirements section below).
AAS General Education Requirements: 21-23 Semester Hours
The below courses will be taken as part of the AAS Construction Management program at MCC and fulfill UCM General Education requirements (in parentheses).
AAS Specific Program Requirements: 32 Semester Hours
AAS Electives: 12 Semester Hours

Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AAS: 65-67 Semester Hours
UCM BS Environmental Safety & Risk Management
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Construction Management. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BS requirements.
Core Requirements: 39 Semester Hours
Approved Electives: 30-39 Semester Hours
OR
- Up to 30 hours of approved EHS and EHS related courses (0-30)
- Approved OSHA training electives. Up to 9 hours in this category, other requirements apply (0-9)
- Approved Work Experience/certification. Up to 15 hours in this category demonstrated by the following BCSP certifications (0-15):
- ASP eligibility (3)
- ASP in good standing (9)
- OSHT or CSHT in good standing (only 1) (6)
- CSP in good standing (15)
General Education Requirements: 21-22 Semester Hours
The following General Education requirements will need to be completed at UCM.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
