Transfer Guide MCC AAS Computer Science & Info Systems, Software Dev to UCM BS Information Technology

The below courses are required for Information Technology majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AAS Computer Science and Information Systems: Software Development degree requirements. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM. Students who transfer to UCM with an AAS degree will need to complete the general education requirements at UCM. See UCM General Education Articulations below.

AAS General Education Requirements: 18-23 Semester Hours


The below courses will be taken as part of the AAS and fulfill general education requirements at UCM (listed in parentheses).

AAS Program Requirements: 42 Semester Hours


Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AAS: 61-66 Semester Hours


UCM BS Information Technology


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of the BS requirements.

Major Requirements: 45-54 Semester Hours

The following General Education  requirements will need to be completed at UCM. Hours may vary depending on transfer coursework.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BA: 120 Semester Hours
