Transfer Guide JCCC AAS to UCM BS Construction Management

The below courses are required for BS Construction Management majors and can be fulfilled at JCCC as part of the AAS Construction Management degree requirements. If these courses are not taken at JCCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of JCCC AAS Construction Management degree requirements can be found in the JCCC catalog.
Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate of Applied Science degree will need to complete the general education requirements at UCM. See The General Education Program Requirements page for full list of requirements.
AAS General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours
The below courses are required as part of the AAS general education program at JCCC. If these courses are not taken at JCCC, they must be completed at UCM.
AAS Construction Management Program Requirements: 42 Semester Hours
AAS Program Electives: 6 Semester Hours
Minimum Total Hours Required for JCCC AAS: 63 Semester Hours
UCM BS Construction Management
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an AAS Construction Management degree. Any courses listed above not taken at JCCC must be completed as part of the BS Construction Management requirements.
Major Requirements: 48-51 Semester Hours
Electives from the Following: 3 Semester Hours
General Education Requirements: 26 Semester Hours

The following general education classes are specifically required by this major:
Free Choice Electives: 3-6 Semester Hours
Free electives may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.
Students must take at least 30 upper-level (3000/4000) hours to graduate. Courses taken at JCCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
