Transfer Guide MCC AA to UCM BSE Art

The below courses are required for BSE Art majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AA requirements. The full list of MCC AA requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.​

AA General Education Requirements: 42 Semester Hours


The below courses can be taken as part of the AA general education program at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.

All students must complete a minimum of 42 credit hours in general education. Some majors require additional hours due to required coursework. See The General Education Program Requirements for full listing of requirements at UCM.

AA Elective Options: 14 Semester Hours


The below courses are required for BSE Art majors and may be taken as part of the 14 required elective hours for the AA degree at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.

General Degree Requirements: 4 Semester Hours

UCM BSE Art


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BSE requirements.

General Education Requirements: 3 Semester Hours


The following general education courses are required for this major.

Free Choice Electives: 0-15 Semester Hours


Free choice elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSE: 120 Semester Hours


*Must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher with no grade lower than a C in Professional Education courses.
