Students minoring in Social Gerontology, upon graduation, will be able to:
- Describe the diversity and complexity of the adult life course and dispel unfounded sterotypes about aging and older adults.
- Recognize the effects of aging populations on societal institutions, such as the family, healthcare, and the economy.
- Use evidence-based information and accurate vocabulary to communicate about aging and social gerontology.
