Transfer Guide MCC AA to UCM BSBA Management

The below courses are required for BSBA Management majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AA requirements. The full list of MCC AA requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.​

AA General Education Requirements: 42 Semester Hours


The below courses can be taken as part of the general education program at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.

All students must complete a minimum of 42 credit hours in general education. Some majors require additional hours due to required coursework. See The General Education Program Requirements  for full listing of requirements at UCM.

AA Elective Options: 14 Semester Hours


The below courses are required for Management majors and may be taken as part of the 14 required elective hours for the AA degree at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.

AA General Degree Requirements: 4 Semester Hours


The below course fulfills part of the General Degree Requirements at MCC and is required at UCM as part of the BSBA degree. If this course is not taken at MCC, it must be taken at UCM. See MCC catalog for other requirements.

Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AA: 60 Hours


UCM BSBA Management


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate in Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of BSBA requirements.

Exhibiting Leadership: 3 Semester Hours

Interdisciplinary Global Perspective: 0-3 Semester Hours


The three (3) required hours of Interdisciplinary Global Perspective coursework may be fulfilled at MCC with completion of ANTH 1820 or HIST 1402. The following courses are additional enrollment options.

Free Electives: 6-9 Semester Hours


Free electives may vary depending on transfer coursework.

*Students must take at least 30 upper-level hours to graduate. Courses taken at MCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.*

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSBA: 120 Semester Hours


**Students expecting to receive the BSBA degree must meet all pre-admission requirements to be admitted to this program. See the Statement of Policy on Admission to a BSBA degree program. Pre-admission courses include: ACCT 1101, ACCT 2102, BLAW 2720, CIS 1600, ECON 1010, ECON 1011, FIN 2801, and MATH 1111.
