Transfer Guide MCC AAS to UCM Systems Engineering Technology

The below courses are required for BS Systems Engineering Technology majors and can be fulfilled at MCC as part of the AAS Computer Science and Information Systems: Secure Systems Administration & Engineering requirements. The full list of MCC AAS requirements can be found in the MCC Catalog.
AAS General Education Requirements: 19 Semester Hours
The below courses can be taken as part of the general education program at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.
Note: All students must complete a minimum of 42 credit hours in general education. Students who transfer to UCM with an AAS degree will need to complete the general education program at UCM. AAS Computer Science and Information Systems: Secure Systems Administration & Engineering Program Requirements: 43 Semester Hours
The below courses are required for SET majors and will be taken as part of the required courses for the AAS CSIS: Secure Systems Administration & Engineering degree at MCC. If these courses are not taken at MCC, they must be completed at UCM.
Minimum Total Hours Required for MCC AAS: 62-69 Semester Hours
UCM BS Systems Engineering Technology
The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an AAS Computer Science and Information Systems degree. Any courses listed above not taken at MCC must be completed as part of the BS Systems Engineering Technology requirements.
Major Requirements: 46 Semester Hours
Upper-Level (3000/4000) Electives
Upper-level (3000/4000) elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM. Students must take at least 30 upper-level hours to graduate. Courses taken at MCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.
Free Choice Electives: 12 Semester Hours
Free choice electives may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.
Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
