Transfer Guide GCCC AS Criminal Justice to UCM BS Criminal Justice

AS General Education Requirements: 30 Semester Hours

Students who transfer to UCM with a completed Associate of Science degree will need to complete the general education program at UCM. The below courses required by the AS Criminal Justice degree at GCCC fulfill general education requirements at UCM. • MATH 108 College Algebra (3) transfers as  MATH 1111 - College Algebra GE (3) (Knowledge Area II)
• PSYC 101 General Psychology (3) transfers as  PSY 1100 - General Psychology GE (3) (Knowledge Area III)

General Education Requirements: 21 Semester Hours

All students must complete a minimum of 42 credit hours in general education. 21 hours can be completed at GCCC (see above).

Free Choice Electives: 11-18 Semester Hours

Free choice elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.

Students must complete a minimum of 30 upper-level hours (3000/4000). Courses taken at GCCC that transfer to UCM as upper-level courses do not count towards upper-level hours.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BS: 120 Semester Hours
