CS 5610 - Introduction to Cloud Computing (3)

An introduction and broad view of cloud computing and its applications. Topics include datacenter architectures, distributed computing models and technologies, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), virtualization, microservices and containerization, security issues, commercial cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.  This course is co-listed with CS 4610. Prerequisite(s): CS 2300 or CS 2400 or consent of instructor.
