HIST 5463 - Modern China (3) Communist China since World War II, including the expulsion of the Nationalist government from the mainland, the consolidation of communist power and authority, internal upheavals such as the “Hundred Flowers,” the Great Leap Forward, and the Cultural Revolution and Communist China’s foreign policies and role in international affairs. This course is co-listed with HIST 4463.
