ECEL 5715 - An Ecological Perspective of Family Engagement in Early Childhood Education (3) Provides theoretical, ecological and empirical perspectives connecting families and educators in reciprocal and intentional ways to support quality early learning experiences. Family engagement that is built upon relationships and dialogue and provides a framework that supports educational growth is pertinent to learner understanding. Learners will analyze layers of inquiry to result in a complex and rich portrait of family engagement.
