Transfer Guide SFCC AA to UCM BSBA Events Marketing & Management

The below courses are required for BSBA Events Marketing & Management majors and can be fulfilled at SFCC as part of the AA requirements. If these courses are not taken at SFCC, they must be completed at UCM. The full list of SFCC AA requirements can be found in the SFCC catalog.

Students who transfer to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree are considered to have met all general education requirements at UCM, except for those specifically required by the major (see UCM General Education Requirements below, if applicable).

AA General Education Requirements: 42 Semester Hours


AA Elective Options: 22 Semester Hours

UCM BSBA Events Marketing & Management


The below list of courses represents the requirements a student will have left to complete after transferring to UCM with an Associate of Arts degree. Any courses listed above not taken at SFCC must be completed as part of the BSBA Events Marketing & Management requirements.

Free Choice Electives: 2 Semester Hours


Free choice elective hours may vary depending on transfer coursework and course selection at UCM.

Students must take at least 30 upper-level (3000/4000) hours to graduate. Courses taken at SFCC that articulate to upper-level UCM courses do not count towards upper-level hours.

Minimum Total Hours Required for BSBA: 120 Semester Hours


*Students expecting to receive the B.S.B.A. degree must meet all preadmission requirements to be admitted to this program. See the Statement of Policy on Admission to a B.S.B.A. degree program. Pre-admission courses include: ACCT 1101 , ACCT 2102 , BLAW 2720 , CIS 1600 , ECON 1010 , ECON 1011 , FIN 2801 , and MATH 1111 .

**Students must enroll in IBE Practicum (MGT 3385 FIN 3885 , or MKT 3485 ) concurrently with the IBE sections of MGT 3315 MKT 3405 , and FIN 3850 .

***The internship is a requirement of this degree program. Students in the major must have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.50 or above (4.00 scale) before they can attempt the internship requirement. Students must also complete the following BEFORE they can enroll and participate in the 3 credit Internship (HM 3880  or MGT 3335  or MKT 3435 ).
